We wanted to help, so we’ve prepared a handy guide with those all-essential dates – to help you keep on track. If you haven’t already, then mark dates in your calendar, and you may even want to set some reminders! After all, the key to a busy financial month is organisation.
1 October 2020 –
due date for the payment of Corporation Tax (CT61) for the period ended: 31st
5 October 2020 –
Deadline for registering for Self-Assessment to notify chargeability of Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax for 2019/20 (if you’re self-employed or a sole trader, not self-employed, or registering a partner or partnership
7 October 2020 –
for VAT returns and payments of Accounting Quarter period ending: 31st
14 October 2020 –
tax due date for CT61 period to 30 September 2020
19 October 2020 –
deadline for postal payments of CIS, NICs and PAYE to HMRC
22 October 2020 –
deadline for electronic remittance of CIS, NICs and PAYE to HMRC
31 October 2020 –
The deadline for paper/postal submissions for self-assessment tax returns for tax year ended 5th April 2020 to be received by HMRC (Meaning ensure that you have sent these with enough time for receipt)
