Your New Job

This is a fast-paced and pivotal role within the wider finance function.  Having full responsibility for the whole purchase ledger function, you will manage the ledger from end-to-end, liaising with other members of the finance team as well as senior leaders in the business as required.  The role will entail the full suite of purchase ledger duties including matching, batching and coding of invoices, supplier statement reconciliation, bank reconciliation, preparation of payment runs, supplier query resolution, production of ad-hoc reports and month-end close.  This is an extremely important role, integral to the smooth running of the finance team, therefore attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency are essential skills for this role.

Your Experience & Our Requirements 

In order to be considered for this role you must have a clear and relevant employment history within the purchase ledger arena.  You will be able to demonstrate previous successes in accurate and efficient inputting of invoices, knowledge of the end-to-end purchase ledger process and reconciliations.  You must also be highly computer literate, with particular working knowledge of Sage Line 50.  If you are an all-round accounts assistant with strong purchase ledger experience you will also be considered.

You will have the ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace in order to meet tight deadlines.  When dealing with customer queries you must be able to delve into the detail of the issue, resolving it in a friendly and timely manner.
