An exciting opportunity has arisen as Director of Records and Funding to work for one of Lancashire’s most well-known and prestigious Higher Education Facilities. The successful applicant will manage the Management Information and Funding department.

Your role in your new job

As Director of Records and Funding you will play an integral part of the Higher Education management team and will be responsible for overseeing the Management Information System and funding, identifying audit requirements, compliance and reporting. As Director of Records and Funding you should be experienced in and able to interpret all funding guidance, including LSC and HEFCE funding methodology. You will also oversee the processing of learner fees, the management of outstanding debt the authorisation of learner refunds, the management of Education Maintenance Awards (EMA), Adult Learning Grants (ALG) and Bursaries. You will have significant experience of student record systems and other complex data management systems an understanding of financial regulations and an ability to manipulate analyse and interpret complex data.

Your experience and our requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and dynamic Director of Records and Funding to lead and manage the MI and funding division you will have a strong background of working within the Education sector and will hold a degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification, an IT Qualification and a Management Qualification (or possess significant experience in a management role) You will have demonstrable experience of leading and developing a team of finance professionals of varying experience and qualifications, managing change across a large organisation with excellent communication skills and commitment to quality assurance.
