Your New Job
As Financial Controller and number one on site you shall become the key partner across a number of revenue streams to support the operational team and company owner for finance. You shall provide timely and accurate financials and remain lead on managing cash-flow across the business. Responsible for the budget and forecasting process you shall also drive current and future business strategy. As Financial Controller you shall manage the process of financial analysis and seek to identify trends to steer future business direction. With the ability to track costs and profitability throughout the differing revenue streams you shall maintain efficient controls and seek to develop process and procedure throughout finance. As Financial controller in truly hands-on role you shall complete the period end process from start to finish, ensuring that results are processed accurately and correctly and that relevant reporting is delivered in line with deadlines. Continually reviewing business processes you shall also be exposed to a number of exciting projects. As the business continues to grow you shall support on planned acquisitions and support on a number of interesting finance projects. Your Experience & Our Requirements
You shall either have a proven track record in a similar lead role in the hospitality and leisure sector or a fully-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA). You shall have at least 3 years practical accounting experience and be an excellent communicator who is highly organised with a methodical approach. Able to manage your own workload effectively you shall have strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to build reports and spreadsheets. A problem solver with good attention to detail and accuracy you shall also be a team player and keen to get hands-on. It is noted there is a desire to progress those with experience in the hospitality/leisure sector however this is not essential.
