Situated in Wigan town centre, this well-known educational establishment are recruiting a Payroll Assistant to join their expanding team. Please note this role is for 30 hours per week and my client is flexible on how this is worked/which days you work.
Your New Job:
As a valued member of the payroll team, you will be handling end to end payroll. You will ensure the payroll process and associated records are operated effectively, including timely payment of Income Tax, National Insurance and Pension Contributions. This is a varied role, calculating travel expenses and Statutory and Occupational Maternity/Paternity Pay. You will also set up new starters and issue p45’s. You may also get involved in calculating & inputting overtime claims. Please note that excellent attention to detail is required for this role.
Your Experience & Our Requirements:
Our Client is looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant. You shall have at least 3 years’ experience working in a payroll environment. You will have a high level of computer competency especially excel and strong analysis skills.
If you have used intragrated HR/ Payroll systems such as I-trent then this would be very beneficial for the role.
