A large and international services business in Preston are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to cover a maternity leave for a period of 12 months. The business is continuing to expand as a result of organic growth and acquisition, so a longer term or permanent position may become available.
Your role in your new job
Reporting to an engaging Finance Director, you will adopt an autonomous role leading a medium sized finance team. Duties will include carrying out month end and year end procedures; overseeing the production of invoices, payments received, and bank account reconciliations. You will liaise with a number of key internal and external stakeholders including suppliers, banks and heads of departments.
Your experience and our requirements
You will be experienced in a similar level role with strong understanding of transactional accounting processes. You will be used to working at pace, ideally in a “high volume” transaction working environment. Strong staff management, development and coaching skills are essential and you will possess excellent systems skills including Excel.
