RK Accountancy raises over £900 at charity event.
The Warrington and Altrincham offices of RK Accountancy held a client quiz night to raise money in aid of St Anns Hospice.
Founded forty years ago, St Ann's Hospice has grown to become the largest hospice in Greater Manchester and a key part of the North West community. A recognised centre of excellence for specialist palliative care for people over the age of eighteen, St Ann's Hospice helps those people who have progressive and life-threatening illnesses - as well as supporting their carers and families. Gareth Boyd and Julia O'Neil from RK Accountancy were keen to show support for a local organisation and have been working hard to organise the event for many weeks, with Julia securing some superb prizes.
On Thursday 27th May 10 teams with over 50 people took part in the quiz raising over £800 for the charity. The winning team came from PZ Cussons, closely followed by Stagecoach. Thankfully the RK Accountancy teams didn't come last!
There was great feedback from the charity and clients. John Begley, Operations Manager for the qualified accountancy division of RK Accountancy commented "this was a great event well organised and I am really proud of the team. We have cemented some great relationships and made a good amount of money for a worthwhile and local charity"
