2. What attracted you to working for RK Accountancy?
Upon deciding that recruitment was my chosen career I knew that to work for a company that prides itself on the quality of what we do, RK Accountancy has always demonstrated a real focus on providing a quality recruitment solution throughout every part of the process.

3. What is your career history?
I graduated from Salford University in 1998 after completing a course in TQM, and went on to join a construction recruitment specialist where I stayed for just over a year. I realised that I wanted to work within the Professional Services sector and applied to RK Accountancy, 10 years later and I'm still here enjoying the constant challenges and exciting social calendar.

4. How would you describe the training and support you received when you began your career at RK Accountancy?
I was given a lot of one on one tutoring from my Manager and was mentored by the Senior Consultants for a period of 9 months. This involved shadowing client and candidate meetings, a full induction to the recruitment process and candidate aftercare, and ongoing training and development monitoring.

5. Please describe a 'typical' day at RK Accountancy
As a Manager my days are split between my own personal billings through to supporting the rest of the Preston team on achieving theirs. This will involve holding twice daily management meetings, client calling, vacancy management and candidate attraction and interviews.

6. How would you describe the RK Accountancy culture?
The culture has changed greatly over the years I have been here, in today's work place the culture is very much about each consultant owning and managing their own individual businesses/clients to achieve a common goal- 'RK Accountancy wish to be recruitment partner of choice!'
