Whilst on assignment, should you have any queries or complaints your consultant will be happy to discuss these with you, and will provide you with their personal contact number during office hours.

 

  • Quality Questionnaires
    We encourage our candidates to evaluate our service by sending Quality Questionnaires that are then returned to the RK Accountancy Operations Director for review. Quality Questionnaires are sent out to every candidate following placement in a temporary or permanent role. The purpose of this process is to obtain feedback on all aspects of RK Accountancy services and to identify any areas for continuous improvement or adjustment.
  • Notice Period
    We expect you to commit to the length of your assignment, however the minimum notice we require is one week for an on-going assignment.

 

About the assignment

  • Working hours
    Standard working hours will all be agreed with you before any assignment commences. We ask that you are punctual and arrive 15 minutes prior to the client’s normal hours, allowing you to familiarise yourself with your surroundings and be ready to start work punctually.
  • Rates of pay
    The rate of pay for each assignment will be agreed in advance with your consultant and will remain effective for the duration of the assignment. Any overtime worked will be at the same rate unless otherwise agreed. Should the duties change significantly during the assignment, your consultant will be happy to review your pay rate.

 

During the assignment

  • Presentation/dress code
    Whilst on assignment with RK Accountancy, we expect you to be suitably presented for work in line with the dress code and expectations of the organisation
  • Software/hardware
    Only use the hardware and software supplied to you by the client you are working for. Use of the client’s e-mail or internet facilities for anything other than the purpose of your assignment is prohibited
  • Personal communication
    Use of client’s equipment to browse the internet, send personal email or make personal calls is not permitted, unless otherwise agreed. We request that your mobile is switched off during working hours
  • Code of conduct
    Please respect the code of conduct and regulations of whichever organisation you are assigned to, ensuring that you maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Getting paid
    You will be paid an hourly rate, with payment made directly into your bank or building society account. You can expect payment into your account weekly (every Friday), but this is dependent upon you submitting a correctly completed and signed timesheet at the end of each week.
  • Requesting holiday
    Any time off or holiday (paid or unpaid) must first be agreed with RK Accountancy before being requested with the client. Please download our Holiday Form.
  • Sickness/ absenteeism
    We ask that you inform your assigned consultant of any absences at least 30 minutes prior to your agreed start time. We also recommend that out of professional courtesy you also contact the client you are working for, directly.

 

Health & Safety
It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of the Health & Safety policy within the company you are undertaking the assignment for.
